Double your gift through your workplace.

GIU is now approved on Benevity and Every.org — two of the largest workplace giving platforms in the world. If your employer matches charitable donations, your gift to GIU could double — or triple — at zero extra cost to you.

GIU’s Tax ID (EIN)

92-2122500

Search this number — or “Greatness In You” — in your company’s giving portal.

How workplace giving works

Three steps. Five minutes. Doubles your impact.

1

Log in to your company's giving portal

Most large employers use Benevity, YourCause, Bright Funds, or a similar platform. Look for ‘Giving’, ‘Volunteer’, or ‘Community’ in your company's intranet or HR portal.

2

Search for Greatness In You or EIN 92-2122500

Both options work. Once you find us, choose your donation amount and frequency (one-time or recurring).

3

Your employer match is applied automatically

Most companies match 1:1 (your $100 becomes $200 to GIU). Some match 2:1. The match comes from your employer at no extra cost to you. Some companies also pay GIU for hours you volunteer (Dollars-for-Doers).

Common questions

How do I know if my employer matches?
Search your company name on https://www.matchinggifts.com or ask HR. Most large US/UK/CA employers have some form of matching.
Is there an extra cost to me?
No. You give what you would have given anyway — the match comes from your employer at zero cost to you. It's free money for GIU.
Can I give from outside the US?
Yes. Benevity supports employees in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and many other countries. Every.org accepts international payment methods directly.
What about volunteer hours?
Many companies pay charities for volunteer hours (Dollars-for-Doers). If your employer has this program, every hour you volunteer with GIU can be worth $10–$25 to us. Log your hours in your company's portal.
I gave through Benevity. How do I get recognized on the donor wall?
Email a screenshot to info@giyou.org and we'll add you to the Wall of Greatness with your preferred display name.

Don’t want to wait?

You can give directly now and ask your employer about matching afterward. Most companies will retroactively match a gift if you submit it within 30–90 days.
